Electoral Education

Women and Young People Electoral Education

The basis of any meaningful development is when people get educated on how and why they should be involved in selecting their leaders in an election. Majority of people in Africa, especially youths and women are left out of this process. This is a huge problem in many African countries, as many youths and women participation in elections is low.

In other to get sustainable democracy, which is a backbone for development, elecoral education is imperative for young people and women in many parts of Africa to get them understand how and why their vote counts in any election.

Our organization is launching an electoral education initiative in schools and women organizations in Africa to get them actively aware of the processes involved in elections.

This initiative will be conducted in partnership with identified schools and women organizations in Africa and will take place the whole year round.
